Pugh Argues Against Tax Office Closure
Sunday, 16 March 2008

Westminster Hall, 12th March: John Pugh argues that the Government's plan to rationalise HMRC offices in smaller towns and cities throughtout the UK has not been thought through properly and that the planned closures could lead to "ersatz savings, pseudo-efficiency and, in consequence, a lot of unnecessary human anxiety".
