MP John Pugh is right behind the fight to have a temporary library service, ahead of a crucial Cabinet meeting tomorrow (Thursday) and is calling on all councillors to listen to the clearly stated views of the public saying "This is almost the last chance for the council to make the right decision."

Banks are forced to pay back overdraft charges |

Dozens of Agency workers throughout Southport and West Lancashire have been awarded sums averaging £500 apiece from the Financial Services Ombudsman after several banks, including Lloyds TSB, wrongly overcharged them.
