John Pugh calls for Government to get clear on how it will help KGV |

 John Pugh, Lib Dem MP for Southport, is calling on the Government to openly explain how it will help Southport’s KGV recover from the failure of the Building Colleges for the Future Programme. The call is in line with a new report by the powerful Public Accounts
Committee – of which Dr Pugh is a member – which has criticised
the Learning and Skills Council responsible for the debacle which
left KGV severely out of pocket.

 Plans to deliver a Childrens Walk-In centre have been delayed until December but local MP John Pugh says that its time for the Primary Care Trust to recognise that their preference for siting the facility at Church St has to be abandonned in favour of a facility on the hospital site.
