Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg: “We celebrate success, we celebrate and support entrepreneurialism, people doing well, earning money. KGV College's re-building plans have suffered a major setback following the Learning and Skills Council's failure to deliver £40m of funds needed for the work. Southport's MP, John Pugh, said the college had "been led up the garden path by the Learning and Skills Council" and branded the failure to deliver promised funding "a disgrace".
